ABOUT US

It all started with my 11 year-old son wanting to buy a laptop!

In 2013, I helped my son, Jess, to set up a small craft business making geeky, colourful designs which are hand-crafted from individual Hama beads - you may also know of them as Perler beads. These are small plastic beads 5mm in diameter which come in a huge variety of colours and shades and are popular with children everywhere and can be used to design an unimaginable number of bead sprite designs.

Our very first market was on 27th October 2013 at a free event for children, offering them an opportunity to showcase their talents and also to make some money at the same time. It was a great success!

We went on to do more markets and craft fairs and, after just a few short months, Jess had made enough to buy his first laptop with money he'd earned for himself!

We have taken part in hundreds more events since those early days, including artisan markets, craft fairs, festivals and Comic Cons. Our product range expanded considerably as we put our heads together to come up with new product ideas and new designs. Our market stall has undergone a huge makeover to become the eye-catching riot of colour and choice that many customers and event visitors still remark on today.

In 2020, Jess decided to take a step back from the business to focus on his university studies but is still in the background as our "Geeky Consultant" but we are still going strong and enjoying the excitement and satisfaction of taking part in market events covering a large area around the North West of England.
